Commission - Goodevening, Spitfire

While this is definitely well made, it strikes me as incredibly unoriginal. Who hasn't drawn Spitfire in socks... or rather every pony in the show? The message of the image is very cliche and over-done, therefor the low originality score. The style also strongly resembles John Joseco's, not sure if that was intentional or if your styles are naturally similar.

The colors are nice and the eyes stand out. The anatomy is pretty accurate (would have preferred a genitalia free version for dA, but that does not affect the critique) and the characters are on model. But as I stated in a comment, Spitfire's wings would likely at least be partially visible from this angle, as ponies' wings are on their sides, not their back. Of course, you could claim this is a stylistic choice, but it's an error worth mentioning.

As for impact... it really doesn't leave one. It's not profound in any way, and as I said it's something the internet has seen a hundred times before.

So overall, this is a well-made image which shows that the artist has talent in anatomy and sticking with character models and accuracy, but the image lacks originality and impact for being basically another copy, or even a meme, already found all over dA and the rest of the internet. Over all, 6/10.
